NKSB introduced the popular Kia Sportage 4WD in 1996 and succeded in commanding a market share of this competitive segment. This success was carried on with the introduction of the Kia Sephia sedan and the Kia Carbival MPV in 1999 which attributed to NKSB being awarded Kia's Top Distributor Award for the Asia Pacific Region in 1999. "Our success is attributed to our marketing strategies coupled with an established network of 46 sales outlet nationwide. Our commitment towards building an efficient after sales network is evident with the recent completion of our RM10 million Central Parts and Service Centre in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur. This will be followed by other new after sales outlets being set up apart from the existing 28 outlets major market centres, especially wirh the impending local assembly of Kia vehicle".. Besides establishing an efficient sales and after sales network, NKSB also hosts the Regional Training Center for Kia Motors Corporation, where training for technical personnel is undertaken for franchise holders in The Asia Pacific Region. NKSB has embarked on locally assembling of the newly launched Kia Spectra. This model which was recently launched in Korea last December, will feature a wider range of improved specification to meet the needs of our customers in the new millenium. The acceptance of the Kia marque by Malaysian consumers coupled with NKSB medium and long term objectives of being a major player in the local automotive sector. NKSB is set on making Kia he market leader especially taking advantage of Kia's strengths of Quality, Versatility and Affordability.
